Nathan Sindt serves as the Regional ATOD Prevention Coordinator for East-Central Minnesota in Region 4. Nathan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN. He is a Certified Prevention Professional (CPP).
Nathan has worked extensively throughout Central Minnesota with local schools, nonprofits, and youth & community-driven organizations. His work experience emphasized educational, mentoring, and community health related needs of communities. His work included an emphasis on alcohol and other drug abuse prevention in the settings in which he worked. Nathan has actively worked with area youth, teens, parents, guardians, educators, and local government for the past 12 years, until starting his current position as Region 4 RPC. Nathan learned early in his career from young people and community citizens to value the importance of building positive, collaborative relationships. He has led efforts in previous positions to develop and implement healthy programming opportunities for youth and families.
Nathan’s home office as the Region 4 East-Central MN ATOD Prevention Coordinator, is located at Community Partnership with Youth & Families in North Branch, MN. Community Partnership manages the Partners for a Drug Free Chisago County Coalition, one of America’s oldest and most successful anti-drug coalitions. Community Partnership is nationally known for its’ effective and creative prevention programs. The RPC position involves identifying regional needs and working with the ten counties in Region 4 to address those needs and provide ATOD services on behalf of the region.
